I got the bug for dj'ing aged 8 watching my uncle "piggy ray" (R.I.P 2010) with his mobile disco set up and was hooked on disco /dance then housemusic & have been dj'ing since 1989 & playing out since 1992. I've been told i have a musical style all of my own some where between deep/soulful/funky/ Techy/electro'ish house but always with a edgey twist, combining bass & beats for the boys, melody and lyrics for the ladies,it's
always worked for me. I love getting the crowd going and bouncing off their energy !!
I have over 18 years worth of experience playing to crowds from house partiesof 20 people+, to clubs of 150 to 500+ , to outdoor events of 3000+, all with their unique pro's & con's. I have also played on various pirate radio stations (BOSS FM/ JUICE FM/ ENERGY FM) & most recently on internet radio station UNDERGROUNDSOUNDS.At the end of the 90's i was a resident for18 monhts at legendary S.E london (illegal) underground club the SOUND BARRIER, which spawned such dj talents as Kenny Palmer/Jon Russell/Ian C/ Dean Grayson & DJ EQ.
I have have played at various clubs in london including , koo club, WAX (RIP), arches london bridge,club rose, smanthas(Old berlington st.), 414 Club (brixton), strawberry sunday (vauxhall) & Ministry Of Sound & CABLE Club to name but a few..
